Better. Yeah. By a good margin. I don't want to say how much, but eh, it's also not really a fair comparison.

A slim refresh with a better disc drive versus actually improved hardware. It's a pretty drastic difference in value proposition.

Is it below?

PS2 production after 3rd year: 51.20m
PS4 shipment after 2.5 year: 43.5m

We need Q2 and Q3 shipment for PS4 and the numbers uses different metrics... one is what was produced and they other what it was shipped to retail.

Q2 + Q3 will be mostly over 8m... PS4 is ahead yet.

Makes me worried I might have to pre order the Pro soon.  I'm in ireland but hearing Germany selling out makes me uneasy.

Sold everything it shipped.

Not bad at all considering PS4 did ~170k at launch.
