Still a rumour at this point (we might find out more later today though) but german gaming website Gamestar (pretty reputable) reports that Quantum Break will get a simultaneous PC release on April 5th. Apparently they've been told at a preview event, whose embargo will end later today.

Reasons to own an X1 if you own a decent PC are shrinking again, I guess.

I mainly wanna see the meltdowns. For PC gamers that want the game this is great news and for X1 owners, it's not really something that changes anything, but you know that shame's going to go down today anyway.

the question is, has this always been a PC release or did they decide on this later in development?

i guess ill play this game eventually on PC.

Do you have a decent PC? If so I'd wait just another 1 1/2 hours to find out if this is in fact true and then I'd seriously consider it, if I were you. To PC gamers that system is becoming increasingly pointless.

Quantum Break's PC edition is the latest in Microsoft's wider push to expand its games across console and PC. Games currently in development for both platforms includes Gears of War 4, ReCore, Scalebound, and Fable Legends.
