I'm not saying it's good enough, I'm just saying they're accurate enough for us to know that PS4 is dominating right now. By how much is anyone's guess

They put PS4 at over 300k in January... it is a bad really bad guestimation.

I was sure PS4 will be up YoY and my prediction was 210k if I remember correctly but c'mon 300k

Yeah their January US numbers are a joke but I think the relative performance of PS4 and XB1 won't be too far off

That make me wonder why they thought Xbox One will be up this year... last year it had the deal to hold the holiday price in January that increased sales.

Maybe overall momentum? I personally didn't think the Xbox One would be selling as well as it has.

The $349 Assassin's Creed bundle was unexpected and bought the XB1 at least another year. Had Microsoft not done that, the XB1 will be at an even worse place.

If January NPD foreshadows how the XB1 will on non-holiday months, then it has effectively become an event console.

But that's what I was getting at, the "event" style might have been able to give Microsoft a decent stabalization.

Digimon is holding up on Amazon. It was out of the Top 100 on the hourlies, but managed to re-enter. It is now #80. Fingers crossed for a Top 10 software appearance in NPD >_<

Mayyybe #10. Of course, Naruto and SFV will be ahead along with the usual suspects (e.g. COD, GTAV). Considering what happened with the George situation and creamsugar is nowhere to be found, we might not ever get precise numbers. However, Bandai Namco actually discloses sales of their games and break the numbers down by region.

It's pretty tricky to pinpoint how Digimon will do since unlike Neptunia or Disgaea, it's not some super niche IP with a cult following. It's a well-known IP that has existed for years. I think it will fare better than SAO: Lost Song, which was Bandai Namco's previous JRPG.
