5.6m is a number for Pokemon Go and that only launched in 3 countries.

I don't know man 2.8 million for a free to download app from a store that 100s of million of people have access to is good but it really surprises me that this is the highest launch ever.

These are interest ratios, not sales ratios. However, I won't be surprised if that FFXV interest ratio is the same as the sales ratio.

Nintendo have a massibecasual audience that abondoned them after the Wii and DS. Most of their fans have android or iOS. It's the next obvious step for them. If switch fails it could be their last comsole.

Playstation has the top 4 places on amazon now. FFXV seems to be doing superbly and the ps4 has #1 on lockdown with that $230 price tag.

With the rate Sony are getting production costs down Sony will surely have a $199 PS4 next holiday.

If it was because of my and DerNebel's heated conversation about Windows Central's numbers, then I apologize. After seeing Mister Negative's comments on GAF and Xevcross's math, I consider WC's numbers to be credible.

Looks like Sony extended the $249 PS4 deal to December 31. I think both Microsoft and Sony will keep their cheapest SKUs at $249, honestly.

If you have a problem with something, please do report it. It's certainly possible we're too lenient with moderating since this forum is generally pretty slow.

Saying we've been taken over by fanboys though is categorically false. The mod team hasn't changed since you joined and all of them were founding members of the forum.
