Even their PR about Quantum Break being the best selling New IP from Microsoft is misleading to most people. It makes it sound like they mean ever but they're only comparing first week sales and to new IP published by Microsoft Studios during 8th Gen only. Plus they were only talking about the UK.

Nintendo are the only ones who seem to remain reasonable when it comes to PR, even when they're not doing well. But they all exagerate sometimes.

The best selling new IP part was refering to WW, Greenberg clarified that on twitter.

See what I mean. Now i've been fooled by Microsoft PR. They don't make it easy do they.

They really shouldn't need to have to clarify their PR statements all the time like this. The whole point of PR is to release a public facing statement that can be understood by all and provides a snapshot of information on the topic at hand.

But as above, their PR is actually correct. (Once you work out what they're saying :p )

It just because his lies I always wait another confirmation before believe him and every time what he said has something that make it not true at all.

I think it can go over 2 million LT. The movie should also help keep it in the spotlight for a bit longer, too.

Both Nintendo and Sony have been great in recent years. Only PS4 PR spin I can recall was them saying they won Black Friday using Amazon sales. Are their other Sony ones I haven't noticed?

Sounds like Nintendo is doibg the right thing according to Emily Rodgers, considerably more powerful than current gen and easy to port, good signs. Also Smash and Zelda NX are basically happenning. Hopefully these come true and it sells well(lay the bombs down at E3 Nintendo).

That isn't right. Let Wii U have its exclusives. If smash and something like Mario kart, which always came out once per gen, is ported then it marginalize the Wii U even more. Just create those games for NX. Zelda is kinda understandable being cross gen being that it's coming out so dang late and close to NX launch. Splatoon would be fine too.

I think smash is due to there not going to be another game for like 5 years or longer.

Watch them fudge it up, Nintendostyle. I can see like 70-80% of the launch and launch window games just being ports of either Wii U or older third party games, which some people will say was the same for the other 8th gen consoles before, but the thing is that people were really sick of gen 7 by then so that helped Sony/MS. People aren't sick of gen 8, even half of the Nintendo fans still want this system to be a 2017 thing, so just having ports is not going to move NX's. Let's see what happens but I still highly doubt that Nintendo is "getting it" now.
