No console is going to sell well in China.  People make like 300 bucks a month there.  They can't possibly afford a 400 dollar console.

Well according to Zhuge, the PS4 in one month sold more than the XBO in 8 months as of the beginning of May. At least Sony is actually trying to establish a presence in China based on ChinaJoy.

Yeah which is why I said PS4 is ahead. Maybe XB1 is still struggling to reach 100k and PS4 has reached 200k quite quickly. In that case there's some hope for PS4... In any case XB1 has no hope in China.

I wouldnt say that some of the japanese insiders there are sort of saying the same thing.

Insiders?  You don't need an insider to predict the market.  Most of them are either biased or extremely pessimistic about all things Japan so they're judgement is clouded.  

Ps4 will sell 8million minimum over its lifetime and will be absolutely fine.  They all go on like the ps3 did good but the ps4 is gonna flop. Yet it's not selling much less in the same period and it's going to have bigger games over its lifetime.  

They all thought ps4 would be sub 10k by now and instead it's almost double.  They've not got the balls to admit they're wrong and say congrats it's actually doing OK.

It will likely be 2016 for sure especially If they announce the nx because sales will tank.

Only hope it has is Mario maker doing a splatoon and becoming the next big thing.  Oh and we don't know how the massive animal crossing fanbase will react to the spin off wii u gets this year.
