But now it's time to move on to new genres. Lackluster sales of Nex Machina have led us to the thinking that it is time to bring our longstanding commitment to the arcade genre to an end. While this genre will always hold a special place in our hearts, the industry is moving more toward multiplayer experiences with strong, robust communities, and it's time for Housemarque to move forward with the industry. Hence Nex Machina and Matterfall will be the last of their kind coming out of our studio. Resogun was great.  Not sure about the rest.  They should have tried to get Sony to let them setup cabs at Dave and Busters for some of their games.

Looks like they are going to make a multiplayer focus game. I'm not an arcade fan, but I can tell they made quality games, so I am looking forward to seeing what they can do next. I hope they have success and start moving towards being more of an AAA dev

Resogun was fantastic, the rest looked/ were boring. I wasn't interested in Matterfall at all since it was a 2d platformer and I barely ever like those.

Yeah arcade might be dead, but these games also don't feel as good as their older ones.

Super Stardust on ps4 should have had a normal VR option instead of a seperate vR mode.
