glad to hear they are working on a new IP. im always excited for new IP's and fresh franchises. though i would have preferred they work another infamous. i was worried they would work on a marvel game though, so im glad they arent doing that.

Probably will be more GTA like and allow the player to drive cars and use guns.

i hope not. that just seems bland if it were like GTA. we already have a GTA like game with watch dogs anyway. give me something more unique.

I'm okay with it as long as he's not leaking the actual game name or details for it.  I'd rather that be kept a surprise.  But he's been known for leaking that stuff too.  Hope he keeps his info to himself for whatever sucker punch is doing.

very much agree.  i would be very disappointed if they did something as derivative as a GTA clone.

dont get me wrong i love GTA. but GTA has its own unique take and feel. and nothing can emulate it. saints row tried and it didnt work, watch dogs tried and it didnt work.

and after Infamous SS's gameplay, i would really love for them to do something where the player has super abilities and powers.

If you google "shinobi sucker punch new ip," this thread is on the first page of results!  

But also I can't find him mentioning it before. Only seems other sources confirmed it was open world and had melee.

they should have left infamous after festival  of blood aka best infamous game imo

infamous second  son was a good game but i didn't like the  side missions  
i still remember the i believe in phil spencer on gaf  that shame was funny lol
phil is a good guy but he can't say no to the higher ups

Maybe not a year ago but on a podcast around E3 he said they were not making another Infamous and they clearly weren't going back to Sly so it was obviously a new I.P.
