Apparently someone tweeted that TLG has gone gold but has since deleted the tweet, how weird.

Here's an article on the tweet, apparently nobody managed to make a screengrab.

The Last Guardian goes gold - Gematsu

The fact that he deleted the tweet is making me a little worried.

^or you know it could be related to the DDOS attack that is apparently happening to a bunch of sites and networks.

Why would that delete a tweet?

I'm sure its not out of the realm of possibility.  It's likely just they are gonna do an official announcement on the playstation blog or something and he jumped the gun too early.  There is no way someone is gonna tweet the game is gold, then delete it because it's gonna be delayed again.  That would be weird, however it seems a bit early for the game to go gold anyway.  I wasn't expecting it to go gold until at least the first week of november.  Usually games go gold 3-4 weeks before release.

Weird question. I have never really looked into the service so I have no idea, but when did Sony get rid of the ability to just rent single games on PS Now? I distinctly remember that being what you could do in the beginning but now all I see are the subscription options.

That's kinda confusing to me as I thought Sonys plan with PS Now was to get the service on every device with a screen, to take advantage of people that might just want to play 1 or 2 PS3 games but aren't interested in getting a system for that or something similar, tying the whole service to a subscription seems really counter intuitive to that.

Yeah I'm not sure when they got rid of the single rent options.  I noticed it a few weeks ago and thought it was ridiculous they did.  I'm not gonna pay $20(I think that's the price) for a month just to play 1 maybe 2 games and that's it.

That's what I've been thinking too, they seem to be just limiting the appeal of the service with that.

Battlefield 1 is very enjoyable so far.  Unfortunately I'll be very busy the next few days so might not get to play.

Lol "the Switch is going to push the PS4 into obscurity". Fresh off a horrendous dog beating with the Wii U in which they made similar claims and already we see the Nintendo fanbase hasn't learned its lesson.

Are we sure NS will even outsell Vita?
I mean it probably will, but right now we can be sure of nothing.

Neato! (Yes, Sony is actually getting involved with this and it's not just the guy deciding to go PS4 first)

So similar deal with Death Stranding. I looked at some of the footage and it's amazing how much this one person accomplished on his own.
