If they go into other mythologies I think they'll continue the franchise beyond one more title. If only one more God of War game, period, is what you're talking about. Hell, for a while there I thought God of War was done but here we are.

It sounded like that didn't it?  .  Though, I was trying to get at, is there's one more greek story left.  Whether they do more or not, depends how favourable a new setting would be.  I remember watching an interview with Jaffe and he said the original plan was to kill Zeus at the beginning of the game.  Kratos was supposed to become the god of death and kill the other gods with a scythe.  There was even a boss battle against the sphynx planned.  Then Kratos was going to kill himself and a six axis mini game was going to ensue where you slice your wrists with the controller.
