There is no way a marvel gaming universe would succeed. Not because the idea isn't want the consumers would want. But because actually managing it and developing it would be impossible if you want the standard to be as high as it is with the current Spiderman

Games get delayed, a lot. Specially single player games. Their development can go to shame fast and things can get off track easily. It's not like movies were production is much faster and it takes 2 years to get a movie out. Were talking 4~ years per game.

So setting a coherent story and events in a large universe accross multiple games, with multiple studios, would be a nightmare. Plus keeping up with the same chain of events will create huge creative conflict.

I don't believe the impossible exists!

darkknightkryta

It won't work.  There's a reason why it never happened after saying it was going to happen.

Kerotan

Crash trilogy down, next up batman telltale series

Sony have a sale on where if you buy any 2 of select games which include some pre order titles you get $15 credit. It's the last week of this sale. Now I went and did it because i think it will be worth it. I bought RDR2 for $60 and I don't think it will go on sale this holiday. I planned on getting it this year so why not. The second title I chose was Spyro Trilogy. I was getting this at launch anyway as it's only $40 so why not now So for the two of them $100 with $15 credit returned so all in all these two games cost be €74. Not bad

Red Dead and AC might be the only new games I'm wanting this year. Everything else I'll wait for it to get cheap.

If you're getting AC probably best not to do that deal as you'll save more by buying it on sale November or December.

I'm waiting for everything to get cheap but Red Dead. Seems like I'll be getting a new 4k Samsung TV next week and I'll be buying Red Dead with it.

Plus you'll be waiting years for red dead to get cheap.

Dr. Pezus

So I got RDR2 along with this sweet dog controller (and much more) from my gf who was in the US

At the very end of the god of war reveal trailer when kratos and atreus are both looking off into the distance where the dragon flies from, you can actually see the world serpent moving below them. Was this noticed at the time?

Yeah I think people spotted it almost immediately and it was theorised to be the world serpent. The internet doesn't miss much!

I stayed away from so much GOW talk to avoid spoilers. I enjoyed watching the trailers after i finished it but they would have spoiled so many little things.

Yeah that's probably for the best. Pretty sure it was a thread title on gaf/era though so it was hard to avoid.

Legend

I saw the first two trailers and then avoided more.

Once you're sold on a game, why would you want to see more?
