Yeah I think it's definitely possible as well and I also believe the game will sell something around 1.5 million units first week.

Awesome. That increased horizon's MC score by about 0.14, its now 58th out of 181 games on 88 when before it was 85th. If that Independent UK score does eventually go on, the score won't go up but it'll be very safe from falling to 87

Don't think that's representative of Gamergate, though I would say the extreme fringe is actually barking. I'm pro-GG, but I'm not complaining about Aloy. Similar thing happened with Star Wars Rogue One. Rebel Media was pushing the silly boycott because the protagonist was female, but GG supporters such as MundaneMatt opposed it.

It's the female protagonist, the racially diverse cast and something that you might consider a spoiler, if you haven't seen much pre-release stuff on Horizon.

Also the Brom cutscene of course, cause people are still trying to base the quality of the entire game on that. Plus some of them have supposedly seen someone stream the full game before launch where they saw that the game was totally buggy, having horrible performance drops, plus bad voice acting and animations throughout. That's of course horseshit but hey, if you need reasons to justify your hate and don't feel comfortable just saying "it has a female protagonist and there are way too many races represented", then you gotta make do with what you can.

Wasn't the main criticism of Marvel was that the diversity was forced? I recall critics mentioning how Marvel was more concerned about the race and gender of its characters more than aspects such as character background, development, and personality. I mean if you want to generalize GG as nothing more than angry nerds, then be my guest. However, a generalization is a generalization. Your conclusion is based on only a few data points rather than an extensive sample size.

Also, some more investigation will reveal that it wasn't GG that caused Marvel to drop some of its comics. What if I told you that it was actually the SJWs that caused Marvel to change its direction? What it I told you it was the SJWs, not GG that started #DeleteMarvel? Basically, the demographic Marvel tried to pander to has turned its back, so it's pretty obvious why Marvel canceled comics that appealed to that particular demographic.

Anyways, this will be my one and only comment since this is too off-topic, but I recommend that you refrain from over-generalizing as well as investigate the context because the picture is significantly different from what you're painting.
