I guess so... maybe it is a $$$ issues (I almost missed Destiny preorder because I will receive payment two days after... a friend on PSN payed the preorder until I give him back the money on Friday)... anyway at retail you can find day one editions with the preorder bonus even after release but digital is only until the release.

After 12 pre-orders I get 60 dollar credit in the store where I buy my games.  I don't get the stamp if I don't pre-order 2 weeks before.
