From what I understand, Brett had an equation that you'd be able to apply to base data to get weekly sales. The guys at Gaf didn't believe him so he left and started VGChartz.  Now he was probably more enthusiastic at the beginning so he probably had better base data. Now he just doesn't care.

Now it seems he only cares about money, something a company like for instance MS has more than enough to throw at him so he can constantly overtrack their products and undertrack the competitors so it seems like MS's products sell well/not so bad.

Okay. Then my point still is that he's basically making up numbers for it. He is way off on Europe. The fact that Sony announced over 10 million PS4's sold to consumers proves that because the NPD numbers for the US we've been receiving don't even come close to being half of how many more consoles Sony sold since early April to reach that number. Even with Canadian numbers added it's probably only a little over 1 million. It would need to be about 1.5 million to hit half. That means that Europe and the rest of the world accounted for about 2 million sales total with Europe no doubt representing the bulk of that. Yet VGC almost always has Europe tracking lower than North America. Which is probably where his current PS4 numbers are missing about 700,000 consoles.

I think we should do a thing where we all make predictions, work out the averages and use that as vizionecks predictions, then see how accurate we are

I think we should make a new topic for sales, definitely but don't relate it to VGChartz, it would end badly I think!

Op starts with the (big) releases + the numbers of the last 2 weeks and then everybody can give their numbers of which an average will be held up against the "real" numbers or something like that?
