No, since he was talking about weeks. You can't compare a week to a random period!

Well VGC could be slightly off with Christmas week which would make the 162k for Destiny week believable.
Yes he was but he didn't specifically say Christmas week, he just said highest week since Christmas 2013. That, to me, suggests that there was a week in Christmas 2013 higher but not necessarily the week where Christmas Day lies. Christmas to me is the whole of December

Why does it suggest that? He says since Christmas, and Christmas is Dec 25 and the days surrounding it. It's possible that you're right but there's nothing really that suggests it.

But there's nothing that suggests he's specifically talking about the week including Christmas Day either. Either way, since its possible he's talking about the period on a whole we can only say for sure that PS4<300k

Except for the fact that he is comparing Destiny week to Christmas. The week before Christmas week is not usually called Christmas...

No, but the week before are still Christmas sales.

It's not like black Friday where those sales happen on the day.

That's just silly.

Maybe it's silly in Iceland, but it's not silly sounding in America. Christmas 2013 in this context means the same as Holiday 2013 to me.

Because at about black friday and later, people start buying up stuff for Christmas.
This would be the holiday/Christmas "season."

I think I predicted Destiny sales like this:

PS4 - 2.5m
X1 - 1.4m
360 - 600k
PS3 - 450k

After adjustments, mind you. Looks like I was pretty close, except PS4 underwhelmed slightly.

kitler53

oh man,. for the first time i've seen since the beginning of september the ps4 is outselling the destiny ps4 bundle in the hourly bestsellers.
