60 FPS feels way way more smoother for me than 30 FPS.

It doesnt make games unplayable...well maybe a few, I dont know why but I just couldnt play Bioshock 2 on PC at 60 FPS cause it would drop to 50-55 and the staggering and movement fluidness changes and its very noticeable. So I turn off the cap , and it plays completely smooth at 80 fps for me l0l
It played perfectly fine at 30fps on ps3/360...

Hmm no idea - I dont buy third party multiplats anymore on consoles.

But I'm assuming it'll be similar or probably worse than when I played it at 60 FPS lol

Anyways, was my first time playing a full fledged AAA title on my gaming laptop :p (been mainly playing Indies or emulated games).

Didnt experience the same issue with Bioshock 1 or Infinite when played it on my gaming desktop so it might be a isolated issue with just Bioshock 2 o.o.

Oh ya, it plays "fine" but not as great as it would on a fully optimized PC version of a game.

They play identical though, I mean, you don't aim better with a higher FPS.  You don't move around any faster.  Yes it "looks" nicer but it doesn't affect gameplay.

Well people will argue that higher FPS decreases input lag.

It doesn't though, higher polling does.  That or breaking V-snyc.  Street Fighter 5 is at 60fps, it has comparatively high input lag.

It can decrease input lag because the render itself takes less time. ~33ms at 30fps vs 16ms at 60fps.

Again, V-sync causes large input lag.  Also if your USB or Bluetooth is polling at a certain time, you can be running at 1000000fps that won't matter.  Your TV also adds lag.  The best you can do is match your render time to controller polling.

With polish I think this could be good but that looked bland even with the zero g stuff.

It feels smoother for me. If I were to play the console version of the game, the movement would feel worse.

Its one of the reasons why I still havent played GTAIV on my PS3 ever since I played and beaten the PC version instead lol

Heck yes people are!

Single player campaign releases next year. Have you kept up with it at all?

Not sure where the comparison makes sense.
Hasn't been in development anywhere near as long as either of those, and haven't heard any negatives of quality.
