I hope EA gives another PS4 + XBO combined figure so we can see if the US % for the XBO went up, stayed the same, or went down.

In my estimates XB1 didn't crossed 25m yet and it will only reach 30m in holidays 2017.

PS4 is already selling over 2:1 over XB1.

Who are you calling imaginary?  Pi is just as real as 1,2, 3 and all those other numbers.  I deserve some recognition!

Hopefully we get numbers soon.

One would think that an insider would at least call them out without giving away any numbers. i think they are only allowed to say something a month delayed.

2015 YTD

PS4 ~4.15m
XB1 ~3.55m

2016 YTD (using the rumored numbers yet)

PS4 ~3.52m (-15%)
XB1 ~3.22m (-9%)

This holiday is being pretty bad for both consoles :( in PS4 case it terrible.

My optimistic estimate doesn't have the XBO over 25m. It is likely that the US share of WW sales has increased to around 60%, but we won't know unless EA or any 3rd party publisher reveals the combined sales.

Welcome to the site

Doubt December will fair better compared to last year. Last year the software sold much better and there were some system sellers. Also last year PS4 benefited a lot from the hype around star wars and the battlefront bundle

You should give those rumoured numbers credibility.  I might aswell tell you a different number and say it's legit and you believe it.

It is fine... I will change when reliable numbers get out.

Estimates put 3DS at 560k. Combine that with a roughly 200k estimate for WiiU and you get hardware total at about 2.8m using the leaked numbers. 30% of 2.8m is 840k.

So, U4 bundle sold somewhere around 840k and there were practically no slim consoles sold without it, that would give about 250k for the pro. Its not a great result but seems reasonable and for sure backs up the leaked numbers.

Also HW revenue down 35%, consoles were on average a lot cheaper this year, especially with the $99 3DS accounting for a lot of sales for the month. This means that unit sales would be down a fair amount less than that. Huh, I guessed that units would be down 20% and that gave me 2.8m based on last Novembers numbers.

I'm inclined to trust the leaked numbers now.

Yay for maths!

Only Nintendo would be so massively moronic to undership the NES Classic like this. Great hold for Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1, awful numbers for Watch Dogs 2.
