I'm amused by the people online already proclaiming that "Nintendo finally gets it, this will have great third party support for sure" or something along those lines. Oh how fast we forget the Wii U. Publisher can jump ship anytime they want and the Wii U showed that they absolutely will.

Also show me what those third parties from that partner list are actually doing, for now the only two third party games they've shown won't exactly be hot items anymore next march. Why haven't they shown something actually upcoming to show that third parties are on board (I know Skyrim Remastered is technically upcoming, but come on, it's a remaster of a game from 2011)?

Also, didn't see it used as a touch screen ever
Lol exactly what I thought!

Anyways I wanna know a couple more things, mainly price, power and games (don't care about battery life would probably never use the handheld version anyway), but I'm not completely put off by this. We have way too little info to actually tell if this is going to be successful, but I could see myself getting one for a couple Nintendo games.

Power wise I'm pretty sure it's sub XBO when docked.

to me showing skyrim speaks volumes.  for an announcement of your console you're going to want to put your best foot forward.  apparently that best foot is a late port of a game that came out on ps3.

if that's the best they can do 3rd party support is non-relevant.

Smells like WiiU. Except then they showed late ports of relatively new games while skyrim is a late port of a remaster

Yeah, that one boggles my mind, even though you do have people on reddit circlejerking on Skyrim on the go already, then again we're talking about reddit here, they're always circlejerking Skyrim. But yeah, if they had them couldn't they have put a game from 2017 in there?

Looks great!

Also the NS looks pretty good too.

This looks pretty good in my opinion.

I hope for:
-The specs to be decent.  Whatever that means.
-The games to be awesome.  This is the must.
-Controls to be chargeable through the device.  I'm assuming it's a rechargeable battery that charges when connected to the main device part of it.  Haven't read anything, but I'm hoping.

Having 2 of them and playing like 4 player Mario Kart in the middle of nowhere is pretty cool. It seems to be that Nintendo might already be using NS's features better than they used the Wii U's features....

Honestly just the fact that there is any sort of Bethesda game on the system whatsoever is very promising to me.
Spoiler for Hidden:

A lot of these companies haven't made any Nintendo games at all before, and some only made 1 game for Wii U.  It's a very promising list.

Btw. what do you guys think, are the MK and Splatoon game shown in the trailer, completely new entries or just MK8 and Splatoon with Nintendos patented "we added some things here and there so you won't feel bad about buying the same game again"? Cause some people are assuming they are new entries because of the ghost in the MK bit and the haircuts in the Splatoon bit.

I'm personally suspecting it to be remasters of the Wii U games.

Isn't like every Mario Kart game that?
It's kind of hard to do something crazy in a Kart game.  Every game is pretty much different Karts, different tracks, different characters, same meat.
Also has new ability to have more than one items.

I'm expecting Splatoon remaster, Mario Kart Switch.

I'm still disappointed in the dpad :/
