I think it depends on the deals. It sounds like it was pretty close this month. I wouldn't call it a comeback anyway. Now they are only selling on par with ps4. The pro will take back any gains xbox made anyway. So really it's all mute.

Yeah, They think the 4k drive is the reason for the turn around. Which it isn't and it's not even a turn around. This is the time of the year consoles start to pick up. And it didn't outsell it by anything really worth bragging about . So It seems to be just doing normal. While the ps4 is down because the pro is just around the corner. If you're looking to jump into a playstation then right now would be the worst time with a far superior system coming out in just a few weeks.

TBF I do feel like the XBO is doing a turnaround irrespective of PS4.

Didn't PS4 Slim release last month? I guess it didn't do anything.

I really wonder how well the Last Guardian will push the PS4. Man I hope that game does well, just for some sort of justification for the time it took to come out..

It released halfway through.  
And frankly, you can find new PS4 originals cheaper than PS4 slims.  Which is an issue.

The best part of this months NPD is MS proudly proclaiming that Forza Horizon 3 was the best selling first party game of the month. No shame MS, its only competition was your very own Recore.

I suspect Greenberg is behind that one, that waterfall is obsessed with claiming everything Xbox is Number 1.

I still stand by my prediction on the Chartz, that they'll take October too. With exception of August the gaps have been so small, the progress they've made in all 4 months will likely be erased come November.
