Yeah, if you have a 4K TV it will play in 4K, if you have 1080p the power will be used for better graphics. The Pro will know which TV you have and run the game accordingly. That's the gist of it.

Haha although most developers don't want to bother with that and are just having the 4K image downsampled if you have a 1080p TV.

It seems gaf is on the hate train. At least the first two pages. it's a 100 bucks more for double the gpu.
