I legit had a little bit of flamethrower ammo and a little of the AK or whatever those guys drop at the end.  shame was hard to stealth.  The very last fight on the top level was a baby.  Finally snuck by all of them after the 10th time.  WAS SO REWARDING THOUGH!!  Hope it works out easier on survivor+

Well my theory is itll be easier since my guns are upgraded aswell as manuals and joel.   ive maxed out health, clicking shiving, and aiming.  and saved the majority of gun parts for armor piercing and power, all the really expensive ones that actually make a difference lol  plus ive done it before, so i can use my tricks.    at the spot right after the hotel, head straight for that second story office above the sub shop lol you can beat up each guy with your fists.. i had 9 dead bodys in a pile next to the window lol

during the hunt as ellie,  despite hitting every target with all my ammo and bullets, it didnt drop any or have david give me any...   so it turned into me running around in circles until he would push one and i could attack.. during the scene you have to watch the door as he pushes the thing.. you need to shoot the clicker atleast once or you fail, but i had none.. when i started again it gave me 1 arrow lol

the feeling of accomplishment when you beat it is just awesome.  if/when i get the platinum, itll be my most cherished

ive turned listen mode off from the very start, so the david fight was real easy for me.   the hardest part of the entire game for me, was ellie and the cabin having to sneak past everyone lol

as joel i spend the entire game planning for the end so that i have stuff to  use in the hospital lol

Yeah once you've played it enough you know where and what to plan for so it makes it pretty easy. 

Sometimes I just say fudge it and blow all my ammo and shame.  I just figure it out later when I'm in a shaming position.  lol

i really hate if ive blown a ton of ammo, i feel like i should die lol  i had this fear of getting stuck somewhere with nothing left and needing to restart lol

To me it just makes me want to sneak by everyone and be a badass. :-p  Like when you get to the bookstore in pittsburgh and there is probably 15-20 hunters that you have to fight, I snuck by all of them and made it to the next part without using a single item except a couple bricks to distract them.  Then I think I can just do it all the time and get too cocky then I fail a few times.

lol ah thats a good way to get that guy from the door...  i just arrowed him and snuck by lol

in the unni at the part with the generator and the 6 runners, i forgot to take a bottle or brick in with me and i couldnt find one..   which ruins my usual tactic of 1 bottle/1 molitov lol it usually gets them all.  I ended up shooting an arrow to grab the attention instead

and at the end of the sewers, if you stay in the hallway,  6 of the spawn at the same time so you cant get them all with 1.. lol

the thing with the last of us, is there are so many ways to get through.. depending on what you have..   for a straight line story, to me it has amazing replayability

dang even though I played the demo multiple times and then the game I still had issues with the demo section lol. Love how unpredictable it is when you mess up. Just feels so good to manage to stay alive after a mess-up, you know?

there we times last night i was legit anxious,  playing the game half scared, slowly walking past a couple bloaters hoping the dont hear lol

I think I may try and do a full on stealth play through with survivor+.  At least where possible.  Some fights seem pretty much impossible to stealth.

yea im somewhat doing that.. lol i just made it to bills with only firing 2 shots(except for the ones where you have to upside down) .. one in the first scene with the 3 guys, and one cop lol  I even made it to the cut scene after that by just booking it and running in circles around a table to loose a couple lol i was like 100 feet ahead of bill and ellie but since i made it to that door it counted lol  This playthrough i can tell will be easier.  I dont care about the shiv doors anymore since i already have all the upgrades i really need lol  so thats another 11 shiv/melee  i get to make, that i was able to make the first time.  and everything has 3 hits instead of 1 lol  plus the extra health.  I am full of supplies where i had none before lol
