Minecraft is a "Microsoft Megahit" according to Phil Spencer

As others have pointed out, it's a bit slimy for Spencer to call Minecraft a "Microsoft Megahit" when it was Mojang that deserves all credit. This should have read "Mojang Megahit".

Meh. It feels wrong though. Calling something you had no hand in making your own megahit because you bought it after the fact? Yeah. Just feels slimy to me.

but they did make the 2 billion dollars required to purchase majong that allows them to put their name on the project.  that tweet is basically why they paid 2 billion dollars,.. so they could put the word "microsoft" in front of something a lot of kids care about.

it's a bit lol worthy of a tweet but there is no reason to have any angry feelings over it.
