Horizon and The Last Guardian Will Launch on PS4 This Year, Sony Pledges - Push Square
QuoteSony's press conference at the Game Developers Conference today was all about PlayStation VR, but it did take a moment to commit to 2016 release dates for The Last Guardian and Horizon: Zero Dawn. While this information is not exactly unexpected, it's been a while since we heard about either game, so it's nice to hear that both titles are still on track.

Legend

Yay!

But the delays can always happen later in the year...

Raven

Yeah they could get delayed later but it's nice to not have to wait until E3 for Sony to say something about them.

DerNebel

Kinda sad that what basically amounts to a "hey we haven't delayed these games (yet)" is actually newsworthy nowadays.

Still happy that those games are still slated for 2016.

No mention of GTS here, no mention of GTS at the PSVR event (even though they said it will support it). we are looking at a delay for this game.

im happy they reaffirmed Horizon for this year, dont care about TLG honestly. so much games this year, and this is still before E3 comes along.

Rorono

I expect TLG to have a very short window between date announcement and release. Like around 2 months, so that it doesn't suffer even a short delay like U4's last one
Horizon slips to early 2017, who gives a shame every game is like it nowadays, one year or another is the same thing
GTS will remain n beta thrughout the year like Dreams, probably to avoid Driceclub/SFV-like complaints if it fully launched with partial content

How is every game nowadays like Horizon? Aside from the open world aspect.

"Horizon slips to early 2017, who gives a shame every game is like it nowadays"

What?
Every game has a female protagonist in a post apocalyptic world with gigantic mechanical dinosaurs with RPG features and made by a AAA studio?

Um I can maybe think of 4 games that have one of those characteristics but I only know one that has all of them.

I can't be the only one that read it this way?

Nah it seems like a very "Rorono" kind of thing to not like this game.

I read it that way last night.
But DerNebel made me reread it.
