Resi 7 "Latern" PSVR demo impressions

When I walked away from my time with the Lantern demo, I had mixed feelings, though I was mostly leaning towards the positive. Despite the simple gameplay and lingering resolution quibbles, I remain hopeful for both Resident Evil 7 and PSVR, which launches later this year.

So who's planning to buy on launch?

I'm waiting it out till the holidays at the very least. Plus playing Elite Dangerous in VR is like my biggest dream. If PSVR can't easily work on PC, then I might as well go for Vive/nothing this holiday and wait on PSVR.

I cancelled my preorder cause of not having as much money as I would have liked, but am starting to ramp up on getting paid some more so if the impressions from consumers are super positive after release and they go back in stock I might buy one.  Hoping to pawn off ps4 pro as a christmas gift.

I might take you up on that offer.  I would like to see if I can get up to $800 to $1000 saved and have currently $600ish(I think).  The job right now is kinda slow and the things I do are easy and not time consuming so I usually get paid $50 per virtual tour I create. I'll be getting another $45 here in the next couple days.   I'd like to not be broke when getting one and still want to have half my money left so we shall see.  I'll let you know in the next week or so if I'll take it.

I wonder when stores will have them in stock.  I'd assume they should have some in stores that are not preorders within a couple weeks after release.  Plus it would be nice to see how it sells after the initial hype.

I'm not sure, but they'll be hard to find till early next year I'd imagine. But then again it could be like the elite controller. Hard as heck to find at first and then they start popping up everywhere a few weeks later.

Well I'm getting the neo first.  I'll see how long I wait for this though.  Target put some up for pre order.  In store collection only.  Sold out in minutes.  

This thing could be sold out constantly until next summer.
