I feel like as much as 3rd parties are happy with sony right now they won't want all their eggs in 1 basket.  now that ms is leaving the industry did odd that NX get solid 3rd party support just go up significantly?

Yes.  the answer is Yes.

I'm not so sure the answer is immediately "yes".  There's always the possibility for someone new to come in, additionally developers may feel more comfortable with being exclusive like they did when the PS2 was around.

MS is leaving the industry? We're jumping ahead a little aren't we?

Regarding NX and third party, who really knows at this point but I wouldn't bet on that horse either, when it comes to Nintendo and third parties I believe it's working out when I see it.

Legend

Depends on if Nintendo tries to fill in xbox's place or not.

If NX is another super casual machine, third parties will ignore it still.

Is did? I can't cope with a title like that! Someone quick change it!

I feel like the chances have increased but that doesn't necessarily mean more 3rd parties will now make NX games as a result.

Raven

Nintendo either needs to do something so awesome that developers can't help but want to develop for it or Nintendo had better be changing themselves to more readily embrace the mainstream.

Chances have increased. However, it is up to Nintendo of whether it will take advantage of the opening Microsoft has created.
