Will Trump be the next US president?

After we are all done laughing at Trump for (hopefully) losing the election by a historic margin in November, the US really has to start looking at what the hell went wrong that Trump could ever gain traction like this. If only men voted then Trump would win this many states? That's utterly appaling and speaks to a huge problem with the country. (Then again, I shouldn't say too much we Germans have also made some appaling voting choices in recent months, at least in some maller states).

Also this is kinda off-topic but this election makes me even happier that I'm not a member of the chertz anymore, the mental gymnastics some people over there go through to defend their Trump vote, really makes me happy that I'm not interacting with that crew anymore.

Wow, so many men in USA need to step their game up. Didn't expect trump to win among men honestly

It's pretty crazy.

Pretty much fear, an insistence to support the person of your political group regardless of how they are, and disliking the other candidate...
Someone over there was defending the alt-right, didn't even think it was one of the bad users on Chertz.  I was disappointed to say the least...

Why not? We have all said and heard much worse with our Co workers and friends. And we aren't filthy rich or have the "we get what we want when we want" attitude. And here's a secret... Women aren't any better. They talk about grinding dicks. And here's another secret... Gay men are even worse

It's really annoying, and frankly it's disturbing to see all the people defending the comments.

Do these people seriously think the slightly vulgar language is the issue?

i don't know,.. but if you are saying things like that among coworkers or hearing it and feel no need to stop it then i think the word deplorable is quite accurate.

I don't think you know what sexual assault is first off. Secondly, you're either being disingenuous of this stuff or your lying.

16 years old. First job roofing. Boss talked about eating bedspring because it tasted like honey.

Same job different boss. Staring at 16 year Olds. Talks about how he's allowed to look but not touch.

18 years old at little Caesars. Boss was Romanian. Extremely pervy. Talked about fudgy goats. Not just in front of guys either.

23 years old at Target backroom, people talked about blue fist bumping.

28 years old at environmental testing lab, guy literally tells a girl she's sluty and should cheat on her boyfriend with him.

Target a couple years ago, gay boss tells me I should become a prostitute because gay guys love fudgy straight guys and he'd pay to fudge me

And again, women aren't any better lol.

Just a couple weeks ago a 53 year old at the lab told me his pick up line is "I'm the (insert town you're in here) bull. Come and ride me. He guarantee it works.

Around the same time, another Co worker was telling me I should hit on all the girls in the wet Chem department even though they are all in a relationship. Because" they all cheat anyway." when asking the girls about it the reaction I got was "yeah, pretty much."

Sexaul assault: any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient.

This is the part that is the problem.
QuoteI just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the bedspring. You can do anything.
This part is implying sexual assault.
"Don't even wait, you can do anything when you're famous."

What you think people are offended by:
QuoteMy wife and I iced last night, ate her bedspring
Nobody cares.

What people are actually offended by:
QuoteI walk up to strangers and just start kissing them.  I don't even ask if they want to be.  I get away with it because I'm famous.
See how despite not being vulgar at all, that it's not explicitly consensual?  That's the problem.

Seriously, this isn't the problem.  Except the goat guy, that's illegal.  Frankly I haven't even heard 90% of that.

Another note, is just because there are some women who wouldn't care at all if you shoved them up against a wall and had naughtiness with them right there without any consent.  Doesn't imply that every woman does, and it makes it illegal if the woman does not.

just because some other people talk like that, doesnt make it ok lol  they arent presidential material either lol

Yawn. Lol @ explicit consent. I'm 100% willing to bet you didn't always get explicit consent at each level. On OKC there is a question that says "is it okay to initiate foreplay while your significant other is sleeping" and I have not seen a single woman say no... But according to the law that would be sexual assault. The law needs to be clearly defined, but the law isn't infallible. In fact, it's severely broken and hypocritical in some aspects. It gets abused. It gets manipulated. It gets used in ways it isn't and never was intended.

And youre hilarious. It's okay to leer at 16 year Olds? Because that's sexual assault in the work place. It's okay to tell someone to become a prostitute so you can fudge them? You're so hypocritical. It has seriously been at every job I've worked with both men and women.

And the fact that you ignore that he said the LET him do it (another word for let is allow) is being disingenuous. These women aren't severely intoxicated. They aren't mentally retarded. They aren't being pinned down, gagged and raped.

If we were to follow the way the law is written then there has been mutual sexual assault in all my past relationships. I have never once asked to have naughtiness with a girl and I won't start. We just do it. I once hooked up with a girl from tinder. We left the bar and got in her SUV. Started fooling around and then she pulled her underwear off and spread her legs. I got uncomfortable (my mind started freaking me out about herpes and shame) and decided to stop and explicitly said no. If I said no and she sat on me anyway, that's sexual assault. If I didn't say anything continued to fool around, and she unbuckled my pants, grabbed my sucker and sat on it, not sexual assault. Yet, I never gave explicit consent. If I were to say trump describes sexual assault and claim I never sexual assaulted anyone (because I haven't) then I'd be a hypocrite. If I were to have committed sexual assault then I would have been sexually assaulted, but I haven't... Logical paradox here.

Its not some. It's majority. Think about what you're actually saying next time you have guy talk. Pretend there is a strict HR manager within ear shot.

DD_Bwest

I have thought about what we say, in fact saturday we got vulgar and were talking about wrecking a young carrie fisher.    but as vulgar as our conversations are, they never include bragging about groping woman.  it was all under the context of consent.   plus i am also not presidential material,  most people arent.

grabbing the lady next to you on a plane, or a reporter/journalist is not the same as trying to get a significant other in the mood.  trying to equate the two is asinine.   what trump talked about on the bus is sexual assault.  it was touching without any pretext.

and trying to say "they let you do it because your a star, you can do anything"   is an indication of consent is utterly ridiculous.   trying to defend this stuff only fuels the regressive lefts false narrative about a rape culture.
