shoot some minions and kill them. then do something with cards. thats pretty much the highlight of what i saw. no epic action anywhere.

As Kitler said, this is a tutorial. It's not a full match where 10 players are duking it out. It's not showing the strategies and tactics. We're not seeing how different abilities counter each other. Hell, we're not even seeing anywhere near the full roster of characters. It's just a video talking about the basics. Titanfall had some intense action. Its tutorial was a fudgy snooze fest.

well what you got was a tutorial teaching you which keys to press and how to navigate menus.

now name one "exciting" tutorial.

Uncharted 2.
Dangling off a falling train 5 seconds into starting.  That's pretty sweet.

Aside from that, there's nothing.  Not even the other uncharted games managed that.  Oh The Last of Us had an exciting opening.

Naughty Dog are the masters of introductions, they teach you the game mechanics while the story is in full swing.

A lot of single-player focused games are pretty good at "tutorials" disguised as the opening. Multi-player focused games typically have sleep inducing tutorials. Mostly because you really have to limit or eliminate the actual multi-player for an effective tutorial. Which makes the game play feel sterile where it would otherwise be intense.
