I'm still at the lamp just next to that boss in Unseen Village. I hate the path to the boss, that includes multiple dangerous enemies with one shots and freakin' missiles, and I hate the boss himself, who is easy enough until he one-shots me for no reason. I've spent way too many blood vials on this fudge maker

Just stick to his dog then back off and hide out of LOS when you need to

ooooo to the back right, from the direction you enter, there is a staircase that leads up to the witchs/bell maidens or whatever they wanna call them on the second floor.  take them out ASAP,  then you can also use the stairwell in that corner as a safe haven to redo all your buffs and heal as necesary lol

you can also do plunge attacks and rush back into the stairs over and over

The trouble is that he randomly one-shots me. Everything is going fine until he decides to do that. He is also so big that it's hard to see what he is going to do.
