I'd buy that a 2TB external on PS4. 500GB is nowhere near enough for my tower of games. This seems like good value.

But was it officially official?

It was for his PC, so.... yes.

Remember when 120 GB was 100$?
Even then it was a bad deal.

3.5" drive?

$110 is a decent price for a 2.5"

According to the article in the op, $80 is a decent price.

Yeah mine is 3.5 but it doesn't matter. Xbo works with them right?

Size doesn't matter, this is an external drive, and as such you can pick external drives up for much cheaper.

Here's a 3TB hard drive for the same price. And they have others cheaper than this with more space that also look better.

And here's a 4 for the same price.

Hopefully Sony have one of these by the time my 1.5tb fills up. They have about 2 years because I'll delete most ps plus games if I'm done with them and need space.

size does matter as you can't fit a 3.5" in a ps4, and some externals are 2.5" which you can put in the ps4. However the 2.5" typically cost more

I think there's a PS4 faceplate you can buy that allows you to fit 3.5" harddrives in your PS4.

how much? cause that might be worth it... 3.5"s are usually quite a bit cheaper

It costs quite a bit for a piece of plastic (~$34).

Don't know why you'd spend more to get an external just to strip it and make it an internal to put it inside of a system.
