There are quite a bit of XBO/PC games.

Halo Wars is a small game

The game's genre is more fit for PC than console.

Breaking down 2016...

Quantum Break: Meh. I loved the fast time room, and the story seems interesting, but the combat looks boring and the live action is off putting.

Recore: It was a no show, and is supposedly launching in spring 2016. My bet is that it's a cheap title that Microsoft doesn't want to show what it actually looks like.

Sea of Thieves: Kinda looks cool, but rare doesn't have a good track record.

Gears 4: might go either way. Who knows at this stage. No reason to like it, but no reason to dislike it.

Scalebound: Sweet!!!!! As long as they fix the framerate by release, that'll be amazing.

Crackdown Multiplayer: Looks poor and splitting SP and MP is worrying. Also the dev doesn't seem to have a history. I don't expect anything good, although the destruction does look impressive. Hopefully that can be the saving grace.

Just Cause 3 looked like Uncharted   It was so weird.  Helicopters being shot down, looks a lot like Drake.

Sony will be pleased with that.  only 2 Microsoft titles in the next 2 years will sell systems and big numbers.  

Crackdown,  quantum break,  forza 6, halo warz,  ROTR and fable won't be massive sellers.  

They all lack that wow factor.  

They are massively dependant on halo 5 and gears being mega sellers.  Pressure is on.

And they keep saying best xbox line up ever.  

Did the 360 never have a year with a better line up than this.  

No exclusive for 9 months,  
Halo 5,
Rise of the tomb raider timed (also on 360)
Annual forza,  
Multiplatform FTP fable,  
Classic games collection,  
360 remaster.  

If that's their best line up ever it's meh.

Warz,
Crackdown,

They need more big exclusives for next year too. Otherwise the gap will keep getting bigger.

Basically 2016 if we only care about probably good/big games is Quantum Break, Scalebound, Gears 4, and Forza.

The XBO's 2016 lineup is good, but it really really depends on the enthusiasm of the XBO userbase. Xbox fans aren't... particularly known for liking RPGs or genres outside of the shooter & sports realms.

And if you narrow it down to big sellers you only have gears.  

And even then you'd wonder how big that franchise still is.  Growth stagnated with gears 3 and judgment was a big let down.
