No, not really. It sonic but the levels are pin ball. You use flippers to get sonic to the top, and you can get very far and fall all the way to the start.  I love it but, it can be a real pain.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Solid JRPG with a very good battle system. Went relatively unnoticed when it came out on the PSP and it also doesn't help when the 2nd & 3rd chapters have never been localized. It has been remastered in Japan for the Vita, so I hope it gets localized at the very least in Asia.
