Sounds like Gears 4 won't be coming out for quite a while if the remaster of each preceding game is released separately. A bit weird to hear about a Gears 1 & 3 remaster, but not 2.

The second one was kind of a sore subject for Gears fans. They didn't like the changes to multiplayer. Though I'm not sure it's that bad to where they would remaster one and three but not two.

It seems NeoGAF isn't in agreement on what that website is saying. It seems some are claiming that it's actually certain multiplayer features from Gears 3 are being put into the Gears remaster.

After mcc, Microsoft has stated they will not attempt combining multiple onlines from different hd ports.

This could be something to do with that.

To be fair is the best of the both worlds... GoW 3 SP is bad.
