Yeah I get what you have to do to get good gear, grind Vanguard points by doing bounties is the best way to do it but I just don't have fun doing that. Angry Legend's review pretty much sums my thoughts up exactly.

hmm the pub events arent always there..  i get to a spot and wait for the time, and it comes and goes,   seems to be after i just finished one so that might be something.   ive done 6 though in the last little while.  certainly a fast way to earn marks.

i'll be honest,.. i thought it would take longer too.  i mean,. i'm playing a lot of destiny but we're only two weeks in and i'm already at the "end game".  i think it took me at least 2 months to get to 60 on WoW.

The guys I play with barely have any time so I'm on my own for most of the time

WoW took me forever to hit max level and I came in two months before the first expansion. Don't even get me started on how long it took me to find myself in a competent guild of players to start 10-man raiding Karazhan to get any good gear. Then it took me even longer to find a guild with enough good players to do 25-man raids and progress. It's why I'm dumbfounded by people saying it takes too long to gear in this game. It's been out for two weeks and someone already hit 30 which requires gear in this game to do. That's an insanely short amount of time compared to games like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, and The Old Republic.
