First Mars strike done. Man that was tough yet really fun. The final boss is three smaller enemies who all have shields and do a shame tonne of damage and they spawn shame tonnes of minions who all do shame tonnes of damage. I spent the whole time hiding to recover health lol

Yeah, DD and a friend of mine tried to do The Summoning Pits last night. Pro-tip: Only do that strike at its level if you want to fight for it. DD and my friend were 12. I was 11. Holy crud that final boss was ridiculous. We gave up after awhile. Probably going to try again today. A lot of people are saying that one is tough.

Wowee just did the other mars one (non exclusive) and dang that was really good. Probably my favourite of them all, there was more than one big boss!

So it looks like that when you reach 20 every mission now has 3 more difficulty levels for level 20, 24 and 28. It gave me a popup about Heroic missions as well, which I presume is the level 28 mission for each story mission (can't check because too low level). It said heroic missions have a good chance to give exotics

EDIT@ I'm actually completely blind and wrong. Heroic missions appear at the side of the planet screen, you get a weekly heroic strike and a daily heroic story mission. They reward you with vanguard points, xp (story only) and strange coins (strike only) for completing and the loot you get has a higher exotic chance I think

Yeah so I guess I should maybe play through the story and get my level up before attempting strikes and stuff since I'm only level 8 and only have the moon open. So I guess I'll play solo for a day or two and get up there.

I hope mercury gets story missions and stuff with the first expansion in december. Is that when it releases?
