ive ran into a number of guys who are listed with a level ??  lol grenades and shots to the face dont even dent, zero impact on the life and shields. 

ive got loads of gear for level 10+..    when does the beta start again?

I think the official beta starts in july 17th??? not sure exactly, but the max level is 20 and there are plenty of things to be revealed for the game yet I can tell from what is there currently. I can't wait for the full game to release!

This game is so awesome!  Gorgeous graphics,  great gunplay, nice animations, sweet powers!!  Man, I can't wait for the beta and the actual release.  This is literally my most wanted game now!

Wow. Did I just have one hell of a play session. So I went to the Tower to see if anything new had come up since I leveled last time. Turns out, I was able to accept bounties now which was neat. Got a couple sick new weapons and then headed back to Old Russia for some exploration. I walked into a building that I thought was just an old utility shack. I had seen it plenty of times so I thought nothing of it. Then I saw stairs. So I got curious and investigated. After going down a few levels I realized that this little shack actually had quite the little underground area to it. I ended up in pitch dark so the light popped on. I walked down a little ways and went to turn a corner. I came face to face with Hive Acolytes whose levels were too high for me to see. I got the hell out of there and went about my business.

Then I went out mission hunting. Whatever I could find. I stumbled onto a mission that told me to take out a Fallen patrol. When I got there it hit me pretty quick. This was the same place as the stage demonstration Bungie gave us at Sony's conference last year. Only... I just went in where they had come out after killing a big Fallen boss. So I attacked the Fallen and sure enough that big basket came right out of that hole in the wall sporting a yellow nameplate with a skull to indicate being a boss. I avoided him, who by the way was firing three rockets at a time, and took out all of the minor enemies first. I started pounding him but I wasn't doing much damage. So I pulled out my new heavy weapon, a rocket launcher, and blasted that big guy twice. That nearly killed him. So I picked away at what was left of his health and killed him. After I explored the area in reverse order from the stage demo to confirm it was the real deal, which it was, I went back the way I came. That's when the most awesome thing yet happened.

As soon as I walked back out a public event happened. Yes, the same one that happened in the stage demo. Only this was WAY more intense. Fallen were everywhere, drones with shields showed up, enemy captains, and that awesome devil walker. One other person, a level 4, showed up and we tried to take this thing down. We both died several times. We were on a time limit to kill the devil walker so we got more desperate and thus ballsy. We got it down to below half health but ran out of time and it faded away. It was such an awesome feeling to be in such a fight like that with someone else. The whole time I was hoping you guys would spawn in and help. I was surprised to only see one other person, though. I fully expected a bunch of people to suddenly appear but it was just the two of us. Still, it was awesome.

Just went through the Devil's Lair strike. Holy crud. I joined in a mission already in session and it looked like they completed most of it. I jumped in right as they were fighting a devil walker. fudge me. That was no joke. Then the boss. Sepiks Prime. Wow. That took forever and was worth it. Awesome fight.
