QuoteAccording to a new image on Reddit, a user has spotted a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 packaging for a Mountain Dew bottle. The bottle is the Berry Lime Flavor, which has been exclusive to Call of Duty promotions in the past.
Currently, visiting the website listed on the bottle – dewanddoritos.com – takes you to their promotion page, which is for PS4's Warframe title right now. However, the tag line for the website is, "All year long, DEW® and DORITOS® are teaming up with PlayStation® to bring you closer to greatness with rewards for your favorite games."

The most notable part of that tagline is the partnership with PlayStation, which may hint that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 may be partnered with Sony for marketing this year; Activision has not confirmed which system or if any system will be getting DLC first for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

In addition, the "your favorite games" part hints that this promotion could extend beyond Warframe to Black Ops 3, if the packaging is real.

We'll update as we learn more.

Just post the url. Be as lazy as possible. All lazy links get renamed and formated, and lazy links from gaf and chertz have the main content quoted.
Needs a lot of fine tuning haha, but yeah. Future!

Anyway about the op itself haha.

I think BO3 is split between both. Why else would they still be so coy about it?

I don't really know. I'm still not convinced Sony has a deal for black ops. Maybe they have a deal with with dew and dew has a deal with cod. I don't think there will be exclusive DLC or anything like that.

Haha, the Doritos pope hath betrayeth Microsoft. At this point, we can safely conclude that Microsoft has lost marketing rights to COD, so no COD XB1 bundle this year.

COD and PS4 deal would be a major game changer for the holidays

I think Sony realized that releasing exclusives, namely 1st party exclusives, during the holiday season just for the sake for public perception isn't a financially smart decision. The LittleBigPlanet series is a big IP, but the third iteration failed to chart in November NPD not to mention its bugs. From Microsoft's side, Sunset Overdrive was easily overshadowed by COD: AW and AC: Unity despite having a bundle and reviewers rating it very well. Forza Horizon 2 failed to chart in either September or October NPD even though it was well-received and released before the holiday season.

We all know that Sony has a deal with Battlefront. While neither Ubisoft or Sony has confirmed it yet, it appears that Sony has marketing rights to Assassin's Creed Syndicate, as well. A marketing deal for COD will make this holiday season extremely interesting from a sales standpoint as it'll be a battle between Halo 5 vs. marketing deals for Battlefront, Syndicate, and Black Ops 3. Another thing to point out is that Sony doesn't necessarily have to win this holiday season; it just needs to not lose by 600K.
