Nah, X1 can find its own success despite PS4 being successful. Just like Wii vs. PS3. I hear you saying "but that's because of the casuals that X1 won't have" and you're right, but the difference is that I'm saying 50m as the max, whereas PS3 will reach around 90m and Wii over 100m. I can see PS4 selling 100m+ too, so that would still be a big drop from last gen (mostly due to the casuals).

MS is more serious now than they were in the Xbox 1 days (lol, that name)

I'm looking at the current trend. X1 is on a trajectory to do less than the 360 did at this rate and the problem is the X1 and PS4 have many of the same games thanks to third-party multiplats with the PS4 versions almost always being slightly better. Microsoft would have to start lobbing a lot of GOTY exclusives to start turning their fortunes because unless they can give a lot of compelling reasons to spend 400 to 500 dollars on it people will just buy PS4 for most of their gaming needs and not even bother with an X1. The PS4 is crushing it in Europe by a lot more than they did in the last generation and Sony's lead in North America continues to grow. The 360 obviously had the early advantage with being out a year earlier, being cheaper, and securing a lot of top notch games early on that you could only play on 360 or where the 360 version was the best. The X1 has none of those advantages. The only thing that saved the 360 when the PS3 bounced back was that it had established itself as the go-to console in North America thanks to its early advantages. It dominated there over PS3.

^That's true. But 50m would still be a massive drop gen over gen. Keep in mind that that is not really what I expect either. 50m is my max, which means I can only see it reaching it if MS hits ALL the right notes. 30-40m is more likely.

PS4 is about to outsell Vita. I wonder if Sony will announce it at E3. Lmao

"I'm proud to announce that Playstation 4 has sold through over 8.5m since its launch last November and is selling at a record pace. Heck, it has now sold even more than Vita, which launched over 2 years ago!"

Lol I don't even know that Sony wants to talk about the Vita at their conference.

They will talk about some Vita games at least. Probably won't mention the sales lol. They will also announce the PS4Vita bundle

Looks like Rime is definitely going to be part of what Sony shows at E3 this year.
I didn't see anything on that page that said anything about rime other than the link itself..

The page just talk about Rime... all of it.

QuoteGAME: Rime
PLATFORMS: PlayStation 4
RELEASE DATE: TBD
GENRE: Adventure

OVERVIEW: Even though so little from Rime has been shown heading into E3 2014, the game is perfectly positioned to steal headlines at this year's main event. Featuring a beautifully-crafted world complete with compelling characters and scenarios, this upstart adventure game from Deadlight developer Tequila Works is poised to surpass the studio's earlier efforts in terms of both scope and scale.

Despite having seen so little from Rime heading into E3, its gorgeous graphics and beautiful soundtrack have been enough to catch the eyes of curious gamers and intrigue fans of titles like Ico and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker who are looking for a supernatural and somewhat tropical adventure with a twist. We're thinking this game might be playable at E3, in which case we can't wait to bring you a report on how the project has been progressing since its stellar debut.

So, check out the above overview that highlights everything you need to know about Rime heading into E3 2014 along with the official description and additional media below to determine where the game ranks on your list of Most Anticipated Games of E3 2014. You have to keep going back to it. GameTrailers has been messed up lately. I had to leave the page and go back to see it.
