God of War III Remastered is available for pre-order worldwide! It will be available in stores and digitally on July 14, 2015. If you pre-order now, you'll get the brand new God of War – Fall of Olympus Dynamic Theme at the game's worldwide launch. North American players that pre-order through PSN will receive the theme next week on May 26th, along with free 90-day rentals for God of War I & God of War II through PlayStation Now.

To whet your appetite for the epicness ahead, we have a sneak peek at the iron spike and chain hook-filled face off against Hades, the Lord of the Underworld. The video, like the gameplay, is full 1080p running at 60fps. Kratos' legendary battles against the gods of Greek mythology are smoother and more satisfying than ever on PS4.

...so and and so forth.

i thought it was cool too but the chertz people are saying shame like: "What a shaming deal.. Even worse then shaming armor dlc..".

i cannot even fathom to understand the value priority system that results in that statement.

Personally, I would've preferred both GOW III and Ascension Remastered, but this is not a bad deal.

on PS4?

No I mean PS3 >:(

might as well say to bring origins as well lol.

As for me personally a rental system for 90 days.....isnt really something pre-order worthy imo. Should of had Ascension remastered alongside it :O (or PS4 PSN versions of God of War 1 and 2 lol).

Why don't people get this?? This GoWIII remaster is meant for those who never played it on PS3 in the first place, and chances are that if they haven't played GoWIII they also haven't played GoWI-II. This is just a pre-order bonus, mind you. Sony could just have the typical skins and themes as a pre-order bonus but here people get to play the two previous games and we hear some major complaining. People wouldn't complain as much if they hadn't announced GoWI-II as bonuses, which is incredibly ironic.

Thing is, the haters are assuming everyone with a PS4 has a PS3.

Its still a pretty bad deal for those who want to get into the series.

I personally would get God of War Saga if I was new to the series. But as Kryta-Kun mentioned I guess I would get this PS4 "Remaster" if I didnt have a PS3 so I guess but still its pretty bad that you get two "Rental" games for 90 days as a pre-order bonus lol.

I rather take the skins and themes as the pre-order bonus personally lol.

Their reason isnt to get people more into the series - its pretty obvious - they want people to get PSNow - and test it out. But I think majority of people will be turned off by this because I'm sure most people would want to go back and play the games again but would not want to pay again in the immediate future - THAT is the main reason why I think the deal is bad.

If they added a key code for the PS3 versions for a PS3 or somehow make a "PS3" classics section on PSN/+ - then that would be a great deal. But the fact that the pre-order bonus is on a rental system is pretty bad - even you have to admit that....come on lol.

If they hadnt announced GoW1 and 2 - they would obviously complain that it didnt feature new features to the game itself or have some tie on like digital copies of GoW1 and 2 for PSN :P!

I'm pretty sure the minority has a PS4 and not a PS3 - I'm pretty dang sure about that.

I can bet you that more people own multiple systems of different generations than most people who only own one single console.

It's a minority, but a significant one at that. I believe Sony ran a survey and found that approximately a third the PS4 userbase were people who did not own a PS3 last gen.
