no way is it a home console. its the 3DS successor. 3DS came out in early 2011, this comes out at the earliest in late 2016.  a 5 and half year life cycle for 3DS is natural. not a 3 year one for WiiU.

i agree with banana here.  the "abandoning home gaming systems." is a lose in translation i think because the last time i saw that exact quote it said "dedicated gaming consoles."
