Soooooooo better and cool.

We just received a very interesting press release from Sony Computer Entertainment Italy. It mentioned an upcoming PlayStation media event scheduled for May 13, which will supposedly unveil a "new concept for online gaming aimed at PlayStation 4 users".

The image literally says: are you ready to accept the challenge?

This sounds like some kind of feature that will allow users to send each other online challenges in a similar way to Driveclub; perhaps it will be extended to every game and PSN-wide. Of course, that's just speculation on our part but right now that's all we got. What would you like to see, folks?

itll be a localized ladder type thing.   youll be able to see your rank and stats compared to other people in your catchment.

no idea...

...but i refuse to get even a little hyped on an announcement.  if something cool happens let me know.
