Its Google! And people who hate AT&T, Verizon, and all those other old companies can now go to google!

Spoiler for Hidden:
In other words, none of us will care.

You wont care, but being in the US it's kind of awesome. It runs off two carries, so it will give you the best connection to one of the two closes towers. 20 bucks a month to access the service providing you already have the nexus 6. You can buy the phone out right or on a two year plan for 27 a month. And you pay for only for the data you use, which is still high but the average price for cell data around here and lower than Verizon and a&tt at 15 a gig. Also, any device you have hang outs on your phone will ring. So if your on your pc or tablet you can take a call right from there. If i switched me and my wife to this plan it would save us about 65 dollars a month

So did Google make a contract with Verizon and AT&T for using their cell towers?

T-mobile and sprint, together there are about as good as Verizon when talking about coverage.

I'm actually trying to figure out what Google is doing.  Like is Google paying to use their towers?

I heard they will be using sprint and tmobile towers for their service with a cap limit on data for google corp.
Nexus 6 is a really great phone
I'd imagine if this goes well Google will buy out Sprint or Tmobile
