probably to capitalize on uncharted and zelda's delays. and end any rumors or speculation about it also being delayed. pretty smart if you ask me. also this sets the release schedule pretty clear for XB1. forza in September, Halo in octobor and tomb raider in november. im betting its halo, week after CoD then week after Tomb Raider.
