more like wishful thinking on yours. If 2016 there isn't a new console it won't be from anything other than stupidity on Nintendo. It's the best business decision for them at this point to drop the wii u as quick as possible... BTW, did you miss the fact that nintendo isnt even able to drop the price for it? TheRe has been nothing good for the system

what's wrong with it? Millions upon millions of dollars,  jobs, opportunity cost... Ect ect. I have no beef with the WiiU. Mostly the horrid nintendo fan base. But wanting an actual good console from nintendo is hater speak I suppose

The Nintendo 64 failed and the Gamecube afterwards failed. It has happened before and it can happen again.

The PS1 crushed the N64 in terms of competition and sales just like the PS2 destroyed the Gamecube and just like how PS4 is destroying and putting the WiiU to shame at this moment lol.

But I do agree that the WiiU as a system is failure and was a garbage of an idea. Who the hell thought it was good to have a tablet type controller (which by the way you cant replace or buy another from the store) for their game system as their main controller.

If the NX is a full out next gen system, 2016 is fast but not unrealistically fast. If NX is like a mid gen upgrade, or a strange console/handheld hybrid, then 2016 isn't bad at all. That'd be 5 years for the 3DS.

The development of AAA games are more expensive and time consuming. Plus developers are aware about broken games. I hope from now on they wont announce it prematurally.
