I only played the demo, didn't really like it.
Let me know what you think of the whole game!  :D

Just saw this thread on the chertz and first thought some wacko made the thread and then after a minute answered the question himself. :D

To answer your question, I loved it, it's a game that is just oozing with charm, certainly one of the, if not the best JRPG I played last gen (though I didn't get to play Xenoblade everyone keeps raving about :P).

But while I think the game is already brilliant there are still so many things that could potentially be done with it to improve the whole thing, which is why I want a sequel so badly. Anyway I don't wanna spoil those things, just enjoy the game for now. ;)

I'm sure Xenoblade is over hyped due to it being on Nintendo, I mean, where were the people praising the crud out of Xenosaga?  Though Nino Kuni was pretty good.  I've only gotten a little past the volcano.  I hate myself for not being further :(

Only ever played the second Xenosaga and never completed it, that game was a huge drag. But that one's supposedly the worst in the series so who knows, I'm actually pretty sure Xenoblade is a good game, as well as Xenoblade X or whatever is going to be even though I uttertly hate the character designs in that one.

I'm sure it's fine.  Just overhyped.

About Xenoblade, it is overhyped. If you are into b-tier jrpgs made in the PSX era - you would love it. Only reason why people were excited for it was because it came out during a era/time when RPGs specifically jRPGs were weak compared to the SNES/PS1/PS2 era.

Anyways, Ni No Kuni is OK. The story, characters, music and the animation/visuals are amazing.

Gameplay is OK.......could of been better, the monsters became a bit repetitive. The side quests were annoying especially the ones that made you go back and forth.

I give Ni No Kuni a 85 out of 100.

Also took me about 50+ hours and I didnt finish all the sidequests.
