The crying on gaf is hilarious.
Yeah, it's like Sony went and just took the $40 from them without asking.

"How dare they make something that I don't think is worth my money?" :D

New mythology confirmed in GoW4?
Pretty sure that just means it's the last game in the trilogy, which wouldn't include GoW4

But why specify "Greek" then?

Boooooooooo!

But actually I'm ok with that, because it also confirms Kratos is returning. Having kratos fight thor is fine. Having thor be the new protag fighting loki would be horrible.

Lulz true. Kratos destroying the Norse gods will be awesome, and it will also appeal to the mainstream thanks to the recent Marvel films.

Someone on Gaf says that this isn't made by SSM, can anyone confirm this?

Maybe they just wanted to spice it up a bit.
"Epic conclusion to Kratos' trilogy" || "Epic conclusion to Kratos' Greek trilogy"

Which sounds better?

I was already doubting SSM was doing the remaster.

People are overlooking a very important point here. We get to bang an even better looking Aphrodite.

Epic conclusion to the God of War trilogy sounds best.

Or "Epic conclusion to the God of War trilogy". This sounds best.

Yeah, but if that's true then I see even less of a reason to be mad, so Sony paid a small studio that probably does nothing but ports or remasters like this to remaster GoW 3 and it releases in the summer, so Sony isn't even trying to fill their holiday lineup with this. The amount of money invested in this could probably at best finance a little indie game, what they get out of it on the other hand could finance a bunch of "bigger" stuff (don't forget: remasters are small investments with almost certain returns especially if it's a popular franchise like this)

We might see a trailer at E3 which would be a waste of 3 minutes but other than that I really don't get why people are so bothered by this, the gaming space isn't just for you folks, there's all kinds of different people.
