I don't really know why people couldn't just get along.  Why all the tension and accusations being slung around? :-(

Well, when mods like Khan are slinging accusations of people leaving simply because they "weren't allowed to spam" and mods like Carl obviously having no problem with it and acting like pretentious assholes... yeah, when an environment is run by people like that I want no part of it. Allowing posters like Kowen to constantly belittle and insult people while taking pretty much no action because "he wasn't breaking rules" is absurd. You can't make rules that you think are good to keep a healthy environment while having none to deal with peoples like him. Plus, that website is a joke for its numbers. This is four months in a row this year, out of four months, that VGC's numbers were way off. There is clearly a bias there and I don't need to explain what it is. It's okay to have your bias but not when you're trying to use it to convince large numbers of people what the truth is. Especially when you're clearly wrong. Also, I only have enough time for one forum to have my attention. A friend wanted to make this place so I'm here instead of there.

We found a way to have more fun than we could have on VGC. That about sums it up. And no, that does not mean we left because "we couldn't spam".

The mods in general over there are a joke. Most of them don't seem to do anything while only a few take action. Khan acts like a cry baby whenever someone speaks ill of Nintendo. His history of banning people for ridiculous reasons is well known. Carl becoming a mod was just as big of a mistake. He's someone who craves power and enjoys punishing people. He even admitted months ago to feeling satisfied when he would report someone and get them banned. You made someone like that a mod? They made a rule against quote trees and enforced it before it became official. Yet for some reason they couldn't think of something better to enforce sooner. Like being less tolerant of people obviously trying to start wars or cracking down on those who are constantly creating a negative environment by verbally spitting on someone in a mean-spirited way. The discussions taking place on that forum were hardly about games anymore. It was about a bunch of people trying to argue why they're right and you're wrong and why what you like sucks.
