I'm not gonna read that "article" but let me guess, does it have something to do with MS' Azure servers?

Exactly. The guy even makes a point to say that if EA and Respawn are going to do this that they need to maintain the dedicated Microsoft servers for the X1 and PC versions instead of using EA's.

Yeah I've seen this BS being spouted quite a few times already, don't know if it's people preemptively trying to blame Sony for if the sequel doesn't work as well as the first game or if they want to lay out an excuse for if the second game sells more on PS4 than on X1.

I don't believe that anyone who thinks like this guy is smart enough to plan that far ahead. This sounds more like kneejerk reaction bitterness. There were a fair amount of people who were banking on Titanfall being an exclusive franchise and others who are still kind of bitter that the game didn't do what they hoped.

Devs can use Azure on PS4 games too.

Well I don't care either way, when I said that Titanfall doesn't interest me, I was 100% honest, the game doesn't entice me whatsoever and the sequel will most likely not change that.

So I'll just stand at the sidelines and enjoy fanboys from the PS camp yelling how they are excited for the game they originally didn't care about and Xbox fanboys explain why the loss of this exclusive isn't important and why they never cared about Titanfall anyway.

Would Microsoft allow that?

I think some ps4 games already use it for non mp backend stuff.

Anybody can use Azure... it is a service in the market... you pay = you use.

I agree, its already bad enough its on Origin! We need it on Steam so the PC player base wont be dead like the first game!!!!!!
