Yeah I agree with you here. Although I think there would be a lot less mass shootings and alleged terror attacks if it wasn't so easy to get guns. Things like that could happen in the UK but they don't as much and that is down to guns and, like you said, other root causes.

There's a lot of issues in America right now, that's for sure. I'm starting to really understand why so many of you are so upset and fed up with your government

So today, people decide that "single mothers" should get a special mention on father's day.

Okay, but where were the mentions of "single fathers" on mother's day?  I haven't even seen a single mention today about single fathers.  
If you think single moms deserve 2 days, while completely ignoring single dads (especially on their day); you are a sexist (arguably against both genders).  

Either give them both 2 days for working extra hard, or stop giving women special attention on father's day.
