/o: They decided to hire someone else for the position... sucks, but I've only been full time since october so its great that I even was able to be nominated for the position since that was the only way to get interviewed for it.
travel would have been state to state visiting different markets

Spoiler for Hidden:
its kind of funny the way things happened... I was talking to my wife on the phone about when would be a good time to say I was interested in a promotion, sensibly it would be at least 6 months after full time at least, and less than an hour later one of my higher ups called and asked if I was interested in just such a position. Hadn't heard back in a couple weeks about it after saying I was interested. Wednesday of this week I lock my keys in the car, and have to call for a locksmith. During that time my direct manager (I have a few managers) called to set up my interview for the position that was mentioned before.

I had figured they had decided to go another way and just started to forget the whole thing before my manager called to set up the interview. So it the whole process felt like door shut door open door shut door open... door just shut so I'm ready for the next one to open.

It'll happen when the time is right. :)

Lol, wtf is that?

Looks really weird.
Complete AIS occurs in those who are genetically male but have not produced the male genitalia while in the womb. In these cases, the external genitalia appears to be female while there are no female internal organs and, instead, testes which generally are not descended. Quite often in Complete AIS cases, the ball may be visible but is generally short and without a cervix.

Basically, they are genetically male but look a lot like women. They also develop breasts eventually but have no menstrual cycle.
