In terms of world premieres it was a bit disappointing. Other than MGO and Zelda, it felt like companies (except indies who obviously relished the opportunity) just threw a bone at Keighley and didn't really want to commit to the show with anything
With Sony it's a bit understandable because of PSX but something more than hastily cut together 1 minute clips would've been nice

The fact that the official PS youtube channel only uploaded the Bloodborne and NMS clips, and that the blog also only posted those two, further reinforces the idea that they wanted to save The Order and Until Dawn for PSX..

Well  I thought the show was quite good.

Again i feel like the world premieres seem to be the focus rather than celebrating gaming as well as the awards. Some awards were done so casually...

Besides that though i feel like the show had good intentions, the music performances were done well and hit the mark, the speakers were all at the very least respectful of the industry. This is a step in the right direction and is MUCH better than last years VGX which was a complete pile of shame. I also feel this was better than the Spike Game of the Year awards, which focused way too much on celebrities and the actual awards that were given out were simply given to the most popular game/person/performance etc. This year i felt the award winners and nominees were decent.

The industry icon award was also pretty good Overall I'm happy and i dont feel like i wasted 2 hours of my life!

i still remember being stuck in police quest for weeks because i forgot to sight my gun at the range lol   those games used to be so dam unforgiving..
